Project and Works Management: Arch. Gianni Ingardia and Giusi Mondino

In designing the Corsini Store boutique specifically dedicated to the women's line, we wanted on the one hand to give an organic imprint in which the curved line prevailed and not the angle and on the other hand not to fall into the stereotype of pink tones, but even to use a pure and hard material such as iron.

The metal bends and curves on the right wall become display units and hangers for clothes and accessories, while the birch wood paneling on the left side contains shaped sheet metal windows dedicated to displaying bags.

Interposed between the two facades is the birch wood display counter, which echoes the sinuosity of the curved lines and emphasizes the longitudinality of the space.

The main room is completed by the cash desk in raw and curved iron, which winds from the ground to end under the metal arch.

To enhance the chromatic tones of the wood and iron we chose a microcement floor in the shade of green, which helps to give the room a touch of moderate vivacity.

From the exhibition space you access the fitting room area, separated from each other by a partition that we turned into an exhibition panel.

The hint of some features that characterize a female face drawn on a sheet of paper during the construction site, were reproduced on a birch wood disc and conceived as a hanger for the dress to be displayed.
